Romania & Rep. of Moldova/ Official Opening

June 20, 2006 again was a special day in the life of the LeuchtBox. Not only was it time to welcome another host to Danube exhibition project, but also for the first time, the exposition included two neighboring countries: the Republic of Moldova and Romania. The ambassador of the Republic of Moldova, H.E. Dr. Igor Corman and the Romanian Consul General Mihai Botorog were the guests of honor. Despite historical and cultural similarities, those countries are two different nations with their own identity. True to the LeuchtBox’s motto “Experiencing Interculture” the visitor can see, hear and smell the similarities and differences of Romania and Moldova. The event again took place in the Great City Hall of Passau with about 100 guests in attendance.
