«It is an amazing idea to have the exhibition about Danube countries here in Passau…Passau is an ideal city to glimpse across the border on its neighbors…», said His Excellency Dr. Sándor Peisch, the Ambassador of Hungary on July 28, 2005 at the third LeuchtBox exhibition opening. The ceremony continued with Hungarian pastry and wine. A special treat for the guests and locals alike was the performance of a student group of the Passau school Leopoldinum, which performed Hungarian folk songs they learned during a visit to the partner school in Miskolc. The students’ experiences in Hungary were also part of the exhibition.
